LETTER TO THE ONE WHO FEELS LOST

My dear,

I know how it feels to live in people’s expectation- they put their hopes too high on you and everyone says that it is wrong to be a failure, you can’t let your parents down with your failure. I know how it feels to be afraid of trying because you know aren’t good enough and you might fall down. I know exactly how it feels to stay up late at night for the past few months, you studied consistently and you’ve been struggling to understand subjects that you hated so much yet it was not enough; your efforts aren’t paid off and they blame you for not trying your best.

I know how it feels to feel so empty, staring at the ceiling while your heart is breaking but you don’t know why. I know how it feels to fake a smile with tears in your eyes but no one realises it. I know how it feels when you have so many reasons to give up but you have to find one, at least one reason why and it will always be your parents. I know how it feels when you’re crying alone in the middle of the night, you feel suffocate and words stuck between your throat.

I know how it feels and you’re not alone. Whoever you’re my dear, you’re important and you worth it. We may not know each other but please, please hold on. Everything will be eased.

Yes, I know how it feels.

I know it all

love.
