Founded in 2014, THE AWAN (空).CO begins with 空 (sora / kū), a concept deeply rooted in Japanese thought. It refers to the sky as vast, open, and without boundary, and to emptiness as openness rather than absence, where all things exist in relation, movement, and continuous change. It is the space in which form appears briefly, never fixed, always becoming.
