THE LOST STARS

People come and go, no matter how much you want a friendship to lasts longer but some aren’t meant to be. We all have that special people; who we long for them to be with us until the rest of our lives, who are so dear and they own the biggest part of your heart. They’re unforgetable because they were the one who wiped your tears away, who made your stomach hurt because you laughed so hard, who convinced you that it was okay to cry, who picked up your call at 2 a.m. and heard you cried all night and whose name will always be remembered.

They were the stars who shined brightly in your darkest night, they came and gave you reasons to hold on whenever the world against you- everything was fine as long as they were there with you. They were the lucky stars who brought you happiness and made you smiled when your day seemed so dull. You went through your day without worries because they got your back.

Since our first met until the day we lost it all, we knew they were still here with us- in our mind as memories. They were the lost stars, who I’ve lost.
